Currently we can compare the PDF drawings in BIM 360 of 2 different revisions to spot the changes. But we don’t have print or export option in PDF format. Like it or not, contracts rely on hard copy information, unfortunately, this is also true for the majority of Sub-Contract site operatives, despite significant advances in mobile tech and the use of digital information in design and validation. We would be delighted if we were able to stamp or watermark drawings or docs during the approval process. This would mean any drawing /doc printed out from the platform or viewed on the platform by Sub-Contractors would have a prominent embedded indication of it's status, as opposed to reliance on users / site management cross checking the platform for validation of same, which can prove time consuming.   This would be an elegant and welcome solution at site level in the same way that embedded QR codes would be. User Experience across the board in our organisation would benefit from this seemingly straightforward enhancement. It would be great to export the users of a BIm360 project (maybe based on filters like the status PENDING) like it is possible in the Account environment.   With this list I could cross check whether these people are still assigned to the project (handled in other systems). I realize this is a fairly new app, but it appears there are monthly updated for the Autodesk Desktop Connector Installing it requires administrator-level permissions. I've got this app installed on dozens of computers, and now it looks like I'm going to have to run around to every computer every month to run updates. There's gotta be a better way! Show More

Hi, currently when a new person has started with a company and is required to be added to all of the projects that are in BIM 360 Docs, the Account Admin is required to open up one project, add the new user by adding their email and then having them create their account.  After that, for the user to be added to all of the other projects, the Account Admin needs to access each individual project and add that individual in, setting their Company as well as Role if necessary for each project.   This is a very time consuming process when you have 450+ active projects.  We need to be able to manage access to projects through both the project as well as through the Users Profile.   It would be a huge time saver and addition if an Account Admin were able to open a Users Profile and go to the Projects Tab and then Click an "Add to Project' button.  It would be greatly beneficial.  It could be set up so that you can define the persons Role and Company within the project in the same tab.  This would allow a new user to be set up in a matter of minutes rather than hours/days depending on the number of projects.  Right now it is very tedious and time consuming.   For Example:   Once the Add to Projects button is clicked, a list of projects could come up with a check box beside the projects that you want to add the person to.  After that you would hit Continue, were you then have a list of only the projects that you checked with the following information displayed and editable:   Bob Smith   Project Name                             Company                                                Role(s) Project A                                    Company A                                            Project Manager Project B                                    Company A                                            "No Role Assigned" Project C                                    Company A                                            Project Manager Project D                                    Company A                                            Project Manager/Document Manager Project E                                     Company A                                            "No Role Assigned"   This would add the members to the projects giving them any permissions to folders that have permissions set up per Company or Role.  For Permissions based on an Individual, those would need to be defined within the project itself.    Please implement something like this soon, as I am the Account Admin and we currently have 450+ projects and 175+ Members as we are implementing BIM 360.  I am dreading when a new person is needed to be added to the already created projects.   Thank you. We need the ability to export the comments and markups collected during a review performed as part of an approval workflow in BIM 360 to an external document or report. We are required to store the record of the review on our server and sometimes the client requires this report to be uploaded into their EDMS (i.e. Aconex) or it is like the review never happened. Is this capability something we can expect in the near future? Like now please? 🙂 Something similar to the issues report with images would be good, anything that can be shared outside of the BIM 360 environment would be better than nothing.  Show More

In terms of drawings being reviewed using the Review process. Markups are added and then corrected by our modellers. Then uploaded to be reviewed again, however, the markups stay on the drawing. Archiving the markups will be too tedious. Please have the markups visible ONLY on that specific version of the drawing, so that when a new drawing is uploaded, it's a "clean" drawing ready for review. If a Reviewer wants to check what the markups were previously, they need only look back at the previous version to see what the markups were.  Show More
