In ACC, while in a 3D view there is the ability to Align (Link) a 2D view from practically anywhere in Docs Files. This on its own is great and helps with connecting relevant 2D information to the 3D. But this should go further. When someone like a Design Manager is reviewing the 3D with an aligned 2D, the reviewer should have immediate access to the feedback found on the 2D. Here's an example. Referring to the below screenshot of a 3D with an aligned 2D view. When viewing the 2D list, each linked drawing should indicate if it has any Issues. This will alert the reviewer to whether there are potentially important issues which may be relevant to their 3D review. Even better, would be to also show the Issue pins on the aligned 2D within the 3D. Furthermore, while viewing the 3D view, the Issues (left tab) should automatically list all other issues contained within the linked 2D views. On the Issues panel, these issues should be grouped under a 'Linked Drawings' header to separate them from the other Issues contained natively within the 3D view. In summary, there is no workflow reason I can think of why feedback items like Issues on 2D views cannot be contextually displayed on 3D views. The 2D views are being manually aligned in the first place, which means the Issues should be too. Likewise in Design Collaboration and Model Coordination.
