Reviews Export Function

Reviews Export Function

We need the ability to export the comments and markups collected during a review performed as part of an approval workflow in BIM 360 to an external document or report. We are required to store the record of the review on our server and sometimes the client requires this report to be uploaded into their EDMS (i.e. Aconex) or it is like the review never happened. Is this capability something we can expect in the near future? Like now please? 🙂 Something similar to the issues report with images would be good, anything that can be shared outside of the BIM 360 environment would be better than nothing.

One workaround is to take screen shots of each markup after a review has been closed out. The images can then be imported into  a PDF that can be uploaded into the client EDMS.

In addition to the good idea posted by Chris, in our case we would also request the basic functionality to export the review entries listed on the Document Management > Reviews page.  As far as I can tell, this is not available at the moment.

Hi,

The basic functionality to export the review entries listed on the Document Management > Reviews page is indeed a must have! Same functionality as we have with Issues and RFI's where we are able to create an PDF or CSV report.

Thanks!

Hi all,

Have you got a solution on the above issue that has been raised ?

Need to export a markups list into a proper tracking file format. (xls, ...)

Many thanks.

We need this, also the 'track' of the review progress (initator + date, approver + approval date, ...) should be in the report as well.  As far as I know it's not possible to export the info in the 'review progress'.

This would be a very valuable feature addition.  We need to run a report and track the status of the reviews.  It would be great to be able to create a report that shows all reviews and could then be filtered to show late, closed, etc.  Thanks!

Hi Autodesk,

This is one of the most essential features that BIM360  must have, please have a dedicated developer for this module and give us the function for us to make the dashboard customization, your available dashboard is too general and focuses only on issues. It seems that you don't really understand how the construction project works. You always suggest using Forge for integration but we are in construction and not in IT. Our users are now frustrated about using bim360 because the more reviews we add the more complex for our project managers to track each item this is due to lack of dashboard to drill down the necessary information.

Dear Autodesk Team,

Please do it as my team required the summary of review.

Please make it happen, review reports are really really important for us and for many others and is awkward to have this for Issue but not for the reviews.

This is such a basic function, i'm very surprised it hasn't been implemented yet.

We have to review dozens of document a week with several users involved in different workflows. The lack of proper reviews export with complete informations (each step with associated reviewers and initiator, date, comments) makes things really hard to track.

This function is painfully needed.
