Hello, Currently, we can only hide first or last dimension point with the linear ordinate dimension settings. Can we implement both at the same time? Thanks, Stephen L

The VBScript tool that is given in list content should be made fuctional as that would increase our customizing strength, by that we can get whatever we want for our BOM on drawing.

I would like to convert one advanced steel model to one simple dwg file. For to send for anyone that has just autocad, and they open the file normally, and see just one 3d solid.

Hi, I can't find any solution for a tension rod connection with Turnbuckle direct bolted bracing between 2 T profiles. I have drawn some auxiliar lines for describing the exact position for the tension rod position.

bonjour pour les toles plies qui ont des longueurs differentes de plis et angles, il serait judicieux sur les croquis de debit de faire apparaitre un tableau avec les longueurs de plis et valeur des differents angles Merci de prendre ceci en consideration et de voir aussi le probleme de pli des toles qui est incorrect dans certain cas assez simple. É comum marcar e cotar somente as peças visíveis no conjunto, porém, é muito útil criar etiquetas personalizadas para as peças que estão ocultas no conjunto. Isso reduz a necessidade de vistas extras além de facilitar muito o entendimento no processo de fabricação. Seria muito útil se o AS reconhecesse automaticamente as peças ocultas e criasse etiquetas diferentes das peças que estão visíveis na vista. Segue exemplo.

hi, When i change the material in Model Browser is look good, but when i do numbering all material value are back to there original. The issue is ta change the material in property panel but in 2016 i can do this direct in model browser and it help a lot. thank you

Is there a possibility to give a correct bracing connection to combi-profiles, such as double angles e.g. Now the first problem is, that only one of the two profiles is used for the plate dimension: Second problem is that one of the bolt connection is not correct aligned: Thank you!

The function "mark main part structure" (not sure about the english function name, see the image...) should accept a weld symbol as input. So one could simply identify the elements connected by this weld instance. I may miss something, but I didn't find an option to select/mark parts of a particular weld symbol. BR, Daniel

At present, each geometry point of a member can only be attached to a single workplane. It would be beneficial to have every member able to attach to both levels and facades. If this were to be implemented it would work similarly to the idea of fixing members to grids. Workplanes could be made at both levels and grids, and all attached members could be moved with ease.

I hereby submit the idea to add support for drawing number prefix. Click a flag and, WHAM! That drawing is now E100, an erection drawing. A different flag could toggle "G" for gather sheets, (parts drawings to you programmers). This should be something that can be added to Drawing Style Manager so users can create their own drawing prefix for whatever reason they so desire. For me this would look like... E = erection drawings M = Misc steel G = gather sheets D = deck drawings J = Bar Joists I also like to number my sheets by building sequence or floor level. This will add more sheet numbers in my range for use as well. Make it simple!! Etc...etc..

There is an option in Management Tools > Defaults > > Drawing Presentation > Colours. It allows you to Use colour ByLayer in arrangement drawings for Visible lines. In that way, you can set objects (like Concrete) to a layer using Model Role, and have them display using the ByLayer colour on the General Arrangement Drawing. However, I would like to see a similar option as this available for the linetype to go to the GA as ByLayer. That way it would be easier for people onsite to identify the non-steel elements they don't have to worry about, because using BYLAYER I have set the colour and linetype to make those elements different to my steel.
