Hello Dev Team, many of our customers would like an addition to the grid dimensioning. It would be very nice if grids could be automatically dimensioned not only from axis to axis but also over the total length or from the first to the last axis via the drawing style. For Assembly drawing it is not always possible to fit all drawing on 1 sheet.  I would suggest AdS needs a robust solution to provide this function.  Current workarounds and Hacks are proving to be uneconomical. Show More

Cut / Section arrows to be live and linked to the cut view once created. This will allow for dynamically moving, resizing cuts and cut depth after placement via grip points or similar. The view created by the cut will also be able to be resized by corner grip points. This would be very handy on GA drawings and large assemblies (all drawings)     Show More

Hi again 😉, As projects become more complex, it would be great to have more tokens to further customize the HYPERSTEELPAGEHEADER, aka Title Block in Advance Steel.   I would like to see more added User attributes to the Project settings in Advance Steel. For the moment,  there are only 5 local attributes that are Project Specific. Hello developers, It needs an additional default for the unfolding/wrap around of folded beams with circular cross section: Combination of largest outer and inner contour It would also make sense if all defaults for the unfolding/wrap around of plates or beams would get their own category in the defaults. Currently these defaults can be found in General and Drawing general. And it would also make sense if the descriptions of the defaults also stated which defaults are used for which objects (beams, plates, etc.). But it would be much more important if you could set how the unfolding should be done directly on folded plates and beams as well as on unfoldable beams. Regards Elias Show More

The 'add leader line' addition to weld symbols is fantastic, much needed! Now please add the same 'add leader line' to labels! There are times when I need this, other times when Advance gives me a single callout with multiple leader lines, but they are non-editable. Please!!! Show More

Hello Everyone, all of us have already met with complex steel Assemblies which are extremely hard to represent on drawings. I often find myself in a situation where I would need something extra to tell the fabricator where something should be placed. So sometimes it would be perfect if I could insert just coordinates direct in the drawing. A simple 2-step command would be enough (see Figure). Now I am solving this with UCS and ID command in model and copying it back to AS drawing.   I would very much appreciate if you could conider adding this type of Dimension to future versions of AS. The shortcomings of detail styles could be addressed by the AI cleaning up the shop drawings.  There are always a series of mundane tasks that AI could apply machine learning to or cross reference examples or and apply the same logic. This could get the drawings 95~99% complete state, with a detailer to run his final eye over.    Show More
