Hi all,
I spend a lot of time fixing dodgy scenes, mine, and sometimes other peoples horrible scenes too. We all do. Does it have to be so difficult? It's basically very repetitive; #1 Delete tens of unused pages of materials from the SME (with sometimes dead networked sub-folder-locations). #2 Labouring through sometimes a whole week of error pop-ups soley upon opening old scene files. #3 Deleting Null Scene Objects, the old fashioned way; menu hide and seek. #4 Re-Finding and relinking bitmaps, proxies, basically everything. #5 Removing unessesary non-malicious gunk code from everywhere including (but not limited to) AutoCAD, SetchUp(Yuk), UE5, STL or Rhino Models, Grasshopper, SketchFab or nasty free models from the internet. #6 Finding memory leaks, bloated files, massive viewport slowdown, outdated plugins, graphics drivers, DX, .NET? https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Optimizing-the-AutoCAD-drawing-file-Purge-Audit-Recover.html Kind Regards,
