Thank you for your continued support. As I was unsure where to post this inquiry, I’ve decided to submit it here. Recently, I tried to compare actual molded products with the results from a simulation to see if similar outcomes could be reproduced. However, despite using the same molding conditions, same geometry, and same material, the analysis showed a significantly higher filling pressure. Could there be any possible factors that might have led to such a discrepancy? I would greatly appreciate your guidance.

Hi, Currently Pressure : XY Plot is available for pressure vs time. It would be easy to view animation ( pointer moving with respect to time) for fill & pack cycle. Regards, B.Vasanth

Hi development team , I would like to request a enhancement for the "Variable Speed" Valve Gate. As it shown in the setting window(see pic) it is just able to open and close once. Please change this setting that you can set the open and close for several times. For some large parts we control several time to Close > Open > Close > Open >Close.. WITH the variable speed control for pin. I hope I can get any response from the support or development team. Thank you in advance.

Hi, I ran a fill analysis and the clamp force for one cavity is 5 T, if there are 2x32 stack mold what is the total tonnage? Thanks, Kiran

I find that if I ask Moldflow to suggest a gate location. The simulation typically picks a surface that is undesirable because it, for example, might be the main visual focus of my part. So I would like to be able to tell Moldflow to suggest the desired gate(s) location(s) that cant be on selected surfaces.

There should be a Injection Molding Machine option in Moldflow Adviser so that we can set the data according to our desired injection molding machine and compare the simulation data with practical situation. And also the meshing of fillet and round area should be improved to get nearly accurate result. Regards Sanjay Paul

To define porosity risks it is necessary to obtain the volume of the most important values of this result. By the scale define, It will be interesting to export to CAD model, the volume with stl, step, iges, ... files. Yours sincerely, Philippe [email protected]

It would be nice to have the option for Moldflow to run isolate cause of warp on an analysis whenever it goes into small deflection on the automatic setting. Currently we have to force it into small deflection to see the cause of warpage. If we are crunched on time we may need to forego the automatic warp (and assume it doesn't go into a buckling mode) so that we can show customers what is causing the warpage. While we can have a good idea if a part would go into buckling mode based on experience, it would be nice to not have to make that assumption just to get the causes of warp when it does go into small deflection. If we were able to check a box that said 'if small deflection, isolate cause of warp' then it would save us from having to re-launch the warp analysis.

I would like to see an option to adjust the size of the air traps on the result plot. They sometimes show up really small compared to the part size, which can be difficult to see when using the whole part image in a presentation.
