Error 1603 during installation of Autodesk software
How to remove and reinstall the Microsoft .NET Framework
Do let us know how it goes and if the suggested solution resolves your issue. Thanks,
@Anonymous I was able to install AutoCAD 2016 on Windows 10 without any issues. You need to add .NET Framework from the Control Panel > Programs & Features > Add Windows Components.
That should help.
Thanks @TravisNave
Please help more for how can I add .NET Framework and install AutoCAD on Windows 10.
Looks like it is installed. See my link on how to edit your setup.ini file to ignore the check for .NET.
I followed all the above instruction but it did not work.
My error is: Install AutoCAD Electrical 2016 Core Failed Installation aborted, Result=1603
Of course there is. I have installed on Windows 10 without any issue. Post your installation failure log. Just keep in mind that Windows 10 is not a released or supported OS yet.
Hi @TravisNave;
My error is: Install AutoCAD Electrical 2016 Core Failed Installation aborted, Result=1603
Please complete instructions for installation.
Thank you.
You might have to add .NET Framework 4.5 manually from Microsoft first.
Thanks, But How can I add .NET Framework 4.5 manually from Microsoft?
Try Windows Update or just go to Microsoft.com and put in .NET Framework 4.5 and go to their download page.
Windows 10 by default, in .NET 4.6 and when I want to install version 4.5 gives the error:
"Same or higher version of .NET Framework 4.5 has already been installed on this computer."
Perfect. Modify the setup.ini to ignore the prerequisite check for 4.5 then.
For more information on this process, please see my KB article here:

Thank you for support.
This is my original setup.ini file, I think don't need for edit.
