Hi, I have a Maya network license and would like to install Maya for multiple Linux machines.
(1) I would like to install Maya and its related packages in a network-shared directory (says /share_maya/) for multiple Linux machines.
This can greatly reduce the admin work by maintaining one single copy instead of dozens copies.
However, the setup script have no way for us to choose the installation destination ( Default: /usr/autodesk/maya[version]/ ).
I tried to set up the environment variable "MAYA_LOCATION" but it does not work.
(2) Similar problem happened in changing the default locations for adlm packages.
I notice that adlmflexnetclient and adlmapps would install files under /opt/Autodesk and /var/opt/Autodesk respectively,
while information of network license is stored in /var/flexlm/maya.lic by default.
Is there any way to change these default settings? How can I install/move them to alternate locations but Maya/Adlm still can find the correct path?
Please advise.
