Autodesk Licensing Modifier Tool

I wanted to share a tool that I started last year and just updated for 2021. Many of you probably already experienced the new tool to change / reset and modify licenses for 2020 and now 2021 products. It can be a bit overwhelming and even if you know what you do ,it costs alot of time to get all the information.

So what I did is to create a UI for this exe. You no longer need to type in any command. Just search your product, decide what to do with it and click run.

If you want to, you can check out the code behind it, modify it whatever you would like to do with it or just use it by downloading the release from github. Product Keys for 2021 are guessed, because there is no updated list yet.

I did get some messages about it being blocked. It is not signed so you get a warning message from defender which you need to allow if you want to run it. Also on some systems some library dll files get blocked and you need allow them manually.

You can find those files in res\assembly.

Maybe someone that tested it can post here that it is safe.

Honestly I'd be nervous downloading / installing anything that could have access to licensing info from someone I don't know.

Not saying you're app isn't a great idea.  ( I've long been suggesting that a tool is needed like this vs trying to get NON-PC people having to get into the registry and other places to reset / resolve licenes)

Yeah I get that. I probably would be a bit nervous to.  I was hoping somebody with some coding knowledge could check the code. In the end it does nothing more than creating a textstring to supply the adskhelper.exe which is delivered by autodesk.

But yeah I get the point. I think I look into the Autodesk App Store.

I like the concept ... 

While I get the new licensing, I'm not a fan of how complex it is when resetting it is required.  

Travis made a quick similar tool.   I've used it / recommended it .. .because of how small / simple it was.

I think it is better to have a tool like this with a gui like a command line batch tool.
