the .net framework should already be on you system on windows 8.1 unless it was somehow disabled. It may be you have installed the preview version of .net framework 4.6 which the installer wouldn't recognize. Can you check your list of installed programs with the programs and features control panel and see if you have .net 4.6 installed instead?

I have checked the Installed Programs there is no Installed preview version of .net framework 4.6. Though I installed Autodek 3ds max 2015 It worked perfectly.

Seems like you should be all set. I am not sure why the installer is not detecting it. What install method are you using? Is this a downloaded installer or a install media?

It's a downloaded installer.

if you downloaded a full installer take a look in the folder for a file called setup.ini and post it here. I'll edit the file for you to remove the check for .net framework and upload the modified file so you can potentially work around the problem.

Attached is a zip with the ini file modified to not check for .net framework 4 or 4.5. Assuming your .net install is actually present, as it seems to be, you shouldn't have any problems with this workaround. Just extract the setup.ini from the zip into the installer folder and replace the existing one that is already there. After that just launch the installer as normal.

Install	Autodesk® AutoCAD® 2015	Failed	Installation aborted, Result=1603

AutoCAD simply did not install.  It is not failing on a prerequisite or an add-on.

Do you have any other vertical flavors of AutoCAD installed from another suite or trial?

Are you installing with local admin rights, UAC off, and anti-virus disabled?

I recommend installing as a custom install and making sure that you are not adding any service packs to the installation when installing.  You might also need to install as another admin user, or change the location of your %TEMP% and %TMP% folders.

Good Luck!

Can you attach the details install log for AutoCAD 2015? The log will be generated in the TEMP directory which can be accessed by typing '%temp%' in the START > RUN. It  have a naming convention of Autodesk AutoCAD 2015 Install.log . This detailed log should pinpoint the exact failing function of the install. The setup.log you already provided just let's us know it failed on the AutoCAD portion of the install.

Well there's not much additional information here. The installer is not able to find or use part of your .net framework to perform an installation

"

Action ended 22:03:12: SetAdlmBothLicenseType. Return value 1.
Action start 22:03:12: LaunchConditions.

MSI (s) (0C:14) [22:03:23:981]: Product: AutoCAD 2015 - English -- .NET 4.5 is not installed. AutoCAD 2015 cannot be installed without this component. See your system administrator for more information."

My guess is thier is either a permission issue of some kind or your .net framework install might be corrupt? If you are using a administrator account to install I would suggest repairing your .net framework installation.
