As we complete a project or turn content over to a client, it becomes necessary to archive all the materials and place them on a disc/hard drive/memory stick and hand them over. Going through this process with an InfraWorks model is a bit clunky. Therefore, I propose a function added to the "Manage Online Models" window and in the "Settings and Utilities" icon strip called "Archive", which provides the user with several options for archiving a model. This archival process would create a copy of the model to a location to a location determined by the user (similar to the Duplicate function). In additional, a series of options would be added, such as the option to compress to an archive format such as ZIP or RAR, remove the model from the cloud, transfer to another cloud account, and collect all external assets (asset collection will be another idea, which I will post at a later time). I would also recommend a function to "restore" an archived model. This would also address an issue that I am personally beginning to experience, available space on my cloud account. I only have about 7GB left and I would like to quickly and easily remove a whole slew of models which I do not need on the cloud.
