Using Map 3D to display coordinate information in Civil 3D

teaser-1.jpg

Civil 3D is built upon Map 3D (Plan Production workspace) and AutoCAD (drafting and annotation workspace). This means that all of the commands in those programs are available in Civil 3D. I am always checking coordinate systems on drawings to ensure that we are all located in the same space, including xrefs and drefs.

MAP STATUS BAR

To show the Coordinate Status bar in Civil 3D type MAPSTATUSBAR at the command prompt and select SHOW.
