Dimension Arrow placement

Dimensions in Revit should include the ability to flip the arrowheads on Linear or Aligned dimension to display outside of the witness lines.  This will allow the dimension text to placed inside (between) the witness lines, while still adhering to ASME Y14.5 drafting standards and keeping the drawings legible and professional looking.  Currently, if the dimension text is moved to display between the witness lines, and the text background is set to Opaque, the arrow heads are often completely or partially hidden.

Include a function to force dimesion arrowheads to the outside (flipped dimension lines).  

Currently it only does it when the arrowheads are close together, but sometimes you need to force them to the outside.

Thanks for taking the time to submit your idea. Unfortunately, this idea did not get the support of the community over the last 6 months and as such we will not be pursuing it at this time. Please feel free to rework (titles and clear descriptions are really important) and resubmit this one down the road.
