I spent the better part of the day on the web learning that Autodesk did not include the ability to include and update door swings automatically. I did find a few apps but before I spend any cash on them I am hoping someone here has some additional options I have overlooked.
Thanks
Todd

So I came across this thread and I can't seem to get the script to work.
-I manually added the 'Door Set' text parameter
-I edited a couple of the doors families in my project with the 'Room Calculation Point' turned on
-My phasing I selected is correct
I am getting a 'Dereferencing a non-pointer' error. Someone else had this error and said it was related to phasing, but like I said the phasing selected was the phasing for the doors in the project.
Any ideas?
Can you share a screen showing the script and the error?
It is selected in the family, is there something I need to turn on or select in the model once it's loaded into the project?

No. That is the only box and you already checked it. So that is not the reason. Do you have any phases after NEW CONSTRUCTION? If so, set the Dynamo node the latest Phase and Run.
Edited: can you show the flor plan view of the door family showing the Room Calculation Point arrow?

That is your non-pointer ... Empty lists
What phase are the doors

The doors that I have updated with the 'Room Calculation Point' selected are all NEW CONSTRUCTION. Is it an all or nothing situation? I only updated 1 type of door in order to test the script.
Edit: the below doesn't matter. It works the same here.
Do you have any shared door families (panel or frame) nested in the door family?
