Please could you advise if we can still reinstall the Autocad LT2007 onto our new PC's or do we have to purchase new software.

Hi @Anonymous,

Your AutoCAD 2007 is a perpetual license so from that perspective, you should be able to install your AutoCAD 2007 onto a new PC provided that AutoCAD 2007 will install on the new operating system, and provided that you are adhering to the terms of the software license agreement (meaning that you may have to uninstall from the old PC, you may be able to use a home use license, etc.) To know for sure, I recommend contacting our Registration & Activation team at this link. Give the webpage a few seconds to fully display and you will see the options to Chat with an agent or submit a support case where you can provide your details and they can advise on your options.

Hope that helps.

Felice

I can almost assure you that 2007 will not work properly on Windows 7 or newer.  You might consider upgrading to the latest version of LT, or look into Desktop Subscription.  LT is not that expensive, by comparison to other software.  And you don't want to be stuck on the DWG 2007 format when everyone else is two versions ahead of that.

Thanks for your replies

We will remove the software from our current PC's running Windows 7 and try the install on the new PC's.
