Currently, orientation elements is lost when exporting warpage result in stl at least in midplane. I think it is possible to keep the orientation of the element in line with the orienation of the face inside the stl file.

When gas passes polymer melt in Gas-assisted Injection Molding in Overflow well, the following error message is output, and analysis stops. ************************************************************ ** SHORT SHOT ** Gas blows through melt front. ************************************************************ Even if gas passes polymer melt by the real molding in Overflow well, I may judge that a Part should not have a problem. If there is it in overflow well because I want to let analysis of 1 cycle complete on a condition same as true molding in Moldflow, analysis, please add the optional function which do not stop even if gas passes polymer melt.

Hello, Normally we are facing trouble to select correct mesh type for the product . whether use DD or 3D .Instead of this ,if it is possible You can change the option like always use 3D meshing. then try to improve the mesh accuracy , result accuracy and reduce the meshing time and analyse time if it is possible. Hello, it could be interesting to be able to manage the number of differents entities. the idea would be to set the number of nodes from 10000 to 19999 for example. The aim is mainly because on FEA models, it is more useful to retrieve elements belonging to a part. and obviously, keep these numbers when exporting the mesh.

Now if the user sets the "Injection + packing + cooling time" parameter to "Automatic" the Target Ejection Criteria offers 3 parameters, 2 of them are stop criteria. Both of them must be meet for the study to stop. It would be nice to have the possibility of selecting that when just 1 of the criteria is meet the study stops.

Hello, Concerning the Pressure specifications (for example at the end of the cavity) I use the level and the time results. The shrinkage depends of both. So for a better specification indicator I would like to know what is the area under the plot by integral calculus. BR FM

to quickly identify wich area on a fusion model has "auto determine"d thickness and wich area is changed and given a certain value in the thickness field a new result would be usefull for example Elements with auto determine : red elements with a certain user defined value : blue this could be usefull to check and controll foreign or old models

Hello We sometime face issue of different level of gloss on an automotive plastics part. Program team asks us to predict it like we predict sink mark weld line location etc. Currently we can visualise sink mark from Moldflow results in showcase suite. It would be very helpful to edit the properties of studies and projects more prominently in the project panel - tasks tab. Especially changing the study properties directly without opening every single study. Looking at the following pictures, you can see two different kinds of study properties. While the first one gives information about size and filename, the second one is editable and can give lots of information concerning part and assembly and their revisions. These second properties even show up in *.mfr files viewed by the Communicator. Nice to have: Show these second properties in tool tip, when moving with the mouse over the name of a study. So we can distinguish the studies not only by their names. Maybe even show these properties in a tool tip in Job Manager.

By clicking with right mouse button on a study or project in Job Manager you get a menu with only one option that is not available: Properties. It would be very helpful to see the properties of the studies, so it is easier to decide which job to submit to the Job Server. Especially in bigger projects with lots of studies.

Hello, I am wondering whether the layer functions could not be used more efficiently. At the moment, if I want to change the wall thickness of some regions, I work like follows 1.) Create a layer A 2.) Select elements to be placed on layer A [3.) Assign a different color of the elements on the layer -> Helps talking with design engineers..;) ] 4.) Select elements on layer A again (might have placed them there in several steps) 5.) A window opens where I have to validate the selection of elements again. 6.) Change wall thickness If we could have an option in the layer stating 'Change properties' it could work like follows 1.) Create a layer A 2.) Select elements to be placed on layer A [3.) Assign a different color of the elements on the layer -> Helps talking with design engineers..;) ] 4.) Select option 'Change properties' which directly allows me to 5.) Change wall thickness. The benefit would be obvious by subsequent simulations when I can start with point 4 in the second option. Michael P.S.: The idea labels do not really cover this....
