hello, i could be interesting to have the possibility, for all menus that may use, to import xls file or csv. For example, when adding a matrix viscosity law or for thermal properties. It is the same for settings for solver parameters (intervalle at specified times). Best regards Cédric

Hello, Is it possible to determine the Shrinkage/Warpage in the moldflow insight and then perform the Reverse Engineering. for e.g Defining the geometric dimensioning and tolerances to the parts on the design stage and after the first of tool parts (sample part) performing in Detail testing of those tolerances using the optic meterology. Comparision of the actual data to the design data and thereby performing the sensitivity Analysis and also the design of experiments considering the different Inputs/Parameters for the next design of the parts if the material remains the same. In short, can we use the deflection/shrinkage resullts from Insight and perform the reverse Engineering for better design of new parts. Any Suggestion or recommendations would be very Kind. Certain plastic are more hygroscopic and needs pre-drying. Can I use the moisture analyzer results to predict the defect or the quality of the part obtained using Moldflow Prediction software.

Hi We saw the great new models for surface weld lines ; we would like to see it also available for midplane models. For 2 reasons - this model seems very efficient - also, we would like to use it for Helius coupling, that is based on this model. Thanks for taking care of it.

Requests: User want to select the network folder as the default location personal database. Reason: Because, when the environment variable, MFSYN_USER_UDB, is entered a network folder, setting is not reflected.

What are the limiting factors as to why metal materials cannot be run as an injection molding material in Moldflow Inisight? Can a (*.udb) file be created for metal materials?

Submitting on behalf of one of our customers: Fuyao Automotive North America. The request is to have Moldflow analyses take into consideration, perhaps by virtue of an input or some "correction factor" in the calculations, the presence of a primer (polyester resin solution). This primer is typically applied to the window glass prior to the molding process. The issue our customer has is that the Moldflow results do not correlate when a primer is introduced into the process. By their accounts, this is particularly true with weld line location prediction, a prime concern with any window surround application. Thank you for your consideration.

There was a Mucell analysis as conventional physical foaming analysis. Packaging material typified by polystyrene foam in various industrials. But the module that analyzes do this was not anywhere. By this chemical foam molding analysis, allow for warpage prediction and filling analysis of packing foam material generics.
