I don't understand what this is from... But on a fresh install. Brand new template, I have two versions of what looks to be the same thing... All the way down to the layers having 2 versions.
Example: (also see attached)
"Object Defaults (ANSI)"
"ObjectDefaults(ANSI)"
(name differences are with spaces and versions without spaces)
Layer: "Work Point (ANSI)"
Layer: "Work Point(ANSI)"
etc etc etc...there's a lot of these similar things...
On the layer side... The difference seems to be color instead of black, being a dark dark blue ish purple and scale by line weight I think...
Anyways my question is... what is this? why is there 2 versions? Is this Autodesk accidentally leaving in an old copy by accident? Or does it have a purpose? (It's confusing as heck)
My version is Inventor 2019 I think the version before 2019.4.4... (can't find the help>about product button)
Inventor: Model States is not a replacement for iParts / iAssemblies. It does not have all the same features yet and does not communicate well with our large currently in use libraries. 😞 https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/inventor-ideas/model-state-support-tabulated-parts-list/idc-p/11360616
