Inconsistent Extract File Error: (Windows Version Compatibility?)

Getting extract error on 5 of 7 browser download files. 003 and 004 work fine but the rest are not recognized by the system.

The Description of 003 and 004 are "Autodesk Download Manager". The others are as shown (just the filename). File sizes are correct.

Any ideas?

I would recommend that you try downloading your product using the virtual assistant by following the directions here:

Thanks for the link. Not sure they are any different files than those in the Browser Download, but I will try them anyway.

Did the downloads for the ones that don't work actually complete? It's worth redownloading to make sure as Travis suggested.

I am quite sure that the Virtual Agent files are identical to the Borwser Download files. Either way, the downloads appear to be good on the surface with proper number of bytes.

The problem seems to stem from the digital signature verification process in Windows 7. I just happened to have the Temp file opened and noticed that log files were being created for each file once I tried to extract any of the 7 files. The log files stopped at 004 every time I tried. I looked in the 004 log file and it says the signature could not be verified. No error pop up, it just aborts.

I will redownload 004 today and see how it goes.

How did you get on redownloading the file?

After several attempts at downloading and transferring the offending file to the destination computer, I was able to get my Windows 7 system to recognize its digital signature. It has been kind of a pain. At least I discovered what to look for.

None of it is Autodesk's fault. More of a Windows issue.

What did you actually DO??

I downloaded it all over again. You will know you have a successful download when every sfx file has a digital signature listed in its properties. If even one of them doesn't, the process will abort.
