VMware fusion & autodesk license on mac

I have got Windows 8 via VMware Fusion on my Mac. I can not install Inventor 2016 because I do not run 64 bit. When I try to install Inventor 2015 32 bit on the virtual machine I get the following message:

“You are attempting to install on an Operating System that is not supported.

Install on Windows 7 (32 bit or 64 bit) or Windows 8 (64 bit) for full support of all functionality.”

So is it possible for me to install Inventor on the virtual machine in any way?

Hello 239175 and welcome to the Autodesk community!

It looks like you need to find out more about downloading or re-downloading software, or are having issues that may be resolved by re-downloading.

For Windows users, before downloading products on Windows 10, please check that the product is compatible.

Thank you for welcoming me 🙂

Yes, it says so for the 2016 version but I am trying to install the 2015 version. There it says:

Minimum:
32-bit Microsoft Windows 7 (SP1)

I thought it also ment minimum Windows 7 but I think it means that it only works on Windows 7.
