I will get a licence error when starting Maya, this will continue for a few min then I will be able to start a Maya process. I have Uninstalled Maya 3 times, installed packs and updates and I am still getting this error. Has anyone gotten this and could help me with the fix:

Hahaha Otto!

This issue has plagued Maya for years...

Here's two things you can try:

1.  Go into Windows Services and stop/start the Flexnet Service (make sure it is set for Automatic)  Then launch Maya.

2.  If that fails, go into C:\ProgramData\Flexnet and rename the adsk*.data files.  Then launch Maya.

Good Luck!
