By 'Unnecessary' I mean that I require clarification as to whether or not they can actually be removed at all?
I have two SSD's in my laptop. My primary (C:\) was intended to solely act as a boot drive - It has 128GB capacity and prior to installing Autodesk software (which annoyingly insists on forcing installation on the C: drive lol) was also naturally catering for 32GB of virtual memory (now relocated).
Suffice to say, I have had to do quite a bit of rearranging to accommodate the following software packages:
AutoCAD
Inventor
Revit
Showcase
+ All accompanying files/ libraries
Anyway.... in addition to the normal installation location (C:\'user'\program files\Autodesk), I also have another folder sitting above program files, unsurprisingly called 'Autodesk' (C:\Autodesk) and within, a folder called 'WI'
This folder, as it stands totals 26.5GB..... What is it? And can I either delete outright or transfer it to my second SSD without causing havoc during my day to day use of the software?
Looking very much forward to your replies 😄
