The idea here is to post M8 vs /M8. I think it would be helpful if this was an option in the User Defined Properties, therefore, the programmer can post with or without the (/) slash if needed.

Hello, We are a small architectural model-making company and we have recently switched from MasterCAM to Fusion360. However we need .NC1 files to run on our X/Y Laser. I have tried all the relevant posts in the Autodesk Library and none seem to fit our needs. So if it is at all possible it would be fantastic if someone could create a Post Processor we can use.

I'm hoping someone has a post for HAAS vertical mill turning in a TM 1P. I have used the has st 20y post to get a rough program, yet there is a substantial amount of manual changes I have to make to get it to function correctly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So this relates to a comment/problem regarding the older Turning centres, specifically Fanuc circa 80's and early 90's (0T through to 10 and 11T and even some of the 15T's). They have to have an inverted X-axis (X positive towards the center of spindle). Perhaps an option that is added to the generic Fanuc Turning post with a default as the regular X direction and option to invert.

We have a 4 axis knee mill (ACCU 2) running M400 control with a Centroid Rotary installed with the axis spinning about the X axis. The rotary axis is labeled "W". When I've tried posting the wrapped tool path I get this output(Below). I really wish I knew enough to fix this myself, but alas, I'm not there yet with post processor jargon. I know there are loads of folks using various Centroid controls & probably a significant number with rotary's attached. I'd love to see the Centroid users get that capability. aparecer no comentário do programa o sobremetal deixado, para o operador saber se e um programa de acabamento ou um pré-acabamento ou desbaste assim seria melhor. E também seria bom se teria como defender o cone ao fazer um programa de furação por que as vezes tem furações que precisa ficar desenhando a ferramenta para saber qual a altura deve ser montada para não haver colisão.

Hello all, We have purchases a Yilmaz CNC which runs off CAMPROX at this point in time it has the worse workflow ever. as follow inventor export as STEP to CAMxTracts export as .ncx to camQuix which is you programming software than export as .prg to your machine. it would be awesome to go from hsm to the machine. I am aware there is a post for a C.R. Onsrud with a fanuc 31i controller that supports 5axis, but the machine we have is just a 3-axis.

haven't been able to find where to remove these.. I just need these NOT output AT ALL. Not compatible with Fanuc 3m system.. Also, anyone know why I can't get the post to provide true full arc capability? Instead I get this annoying point-to-point spline style post processor output that chokes my machine to death.

Hi we've recently bought a Mikron UMC 900 machine that has a twin spindle facility and a 45 degree tilting table to give full 5 axis capabilities. The machine is running Heidenhain TNC 426 which I currently have a post processor for. However, this doesn't allow use of the horizontal spindle and you can only program in Fusion 360 with your tool orientated in the z-axis, whereas to use the horizontal spindle on the machine you need to program in Y. Does anyone have a post processor that would be appropriate or could help me source one. Thanks

It would be handy for everyone with a customized post to be notified when their generic post counterpart gets an update in the post library. This way they are notified of changes and can decide if they need to merge them to their custom posts.

Would it be possible to add the ability to call up a sub program beginning and end of each operation instead of using the machine home position? I use what I call a safe start program beginning and end of each operation that sends the machine to a safe place and does other things like turn off coolant and cancels canned cycles. The idea being that I can start in the middle of the program at a safe start with peace of mind, knowing I am starting the operation with a "Clean Slate."

Allow you to select to use M3 or M4 for turning on the laser. A powerful feature of Grbl 1.1 is the M3 Constant Laser Power Mode or M4 Dynamic Laser Power Mode. M3 is good for cutting, M4 for etching because it calculates turns and adjusts the laser power setting so you don't get burnt corners.
