Modify Drawer STL

I have an STL file of a drawer that I need to modify to make the drawer deeper while keeping the top part unchanged.  It is my understanding that the first step is to import the STL as a mesh.  I have done this, but I don't know what the next step is.  My only thought is converting the mesh into a body, slicing the body in two, separating the two sections and finding a way to fill in the space.  Is this what I should do, or is there a better way?

STL and F3D attached.

The most powerful tip in all of Fusion.

Click, drag, observe behavior.

Edit: Removed corrupted video.

I'm really sorry for being so dense, but I can not tell which two points/lines you are making coincident.

Nothing works for me.

Oops, I didn't watch the video.

My screen recording software did not pick up my actions.

I record it again and check it this time before I post.

Check back in a minute.

The lines don't turn black in your video.

I accidentally embedded the same video.

Just now replaced with correct video (I hope).

I don't like to jump ahead as I found another error and jumping ahead just leads to more errors, but -

attached is sort of where we are going with this (need to add Fillets before Shell).

I am going to be traveling on the road most of today and not sure how much help I will be able to give.

I added Fillets and then worked on the shell.  I could not figure out what to select to get the shell right, but I just kept trying until I was able to duplicate your example.  I still don't know what the rules are for setting up the shell, but I think I stumbled across the correct solution.  If you could explain the Shell faces selection, it would be helpful.

I have attached my latest version.

The only complex thing left seems to be the bottom half of the handle.

What is the source of the original model?

Based on my experience I would expect to see indentation on the bottom for these ribs with uniform thickness...

It came from Printables.com.  There were several different options, some with ribs and some without.  I'm really not that concerned with the ribs, I can tinker with them later.  What I really want to complete is the lower part of the handle.

I cleaned up the sketches a bit based on what was learned from the earlier attempts.

See the Attached file...

In your original problem description, you mentioned that your Design Intent was to change some dimensions.

In the Attached file Edit the Named Parameters Width, Depth and Height as needed to match your true Design Intent.

I almost always put in parameters for anything that might change.  You can see this in the prior versions that I have posted.

I also have gone back and put in big changes to see if I could break anything, and everything worked as I hoped it would.

Where do we go from here?

Shouldn't the lower handle indentation be on one of the existing sketches, or is there yet another sketch to be added?

@3D_Ken

The lower handle will be a rotation copy (Circular Pattern) of the upper handle, so no sketch needed for that feature.

Do I rotate faces on the sketch, or the body of the handle?

I tried both and could not make either of them produce the desired results.

@3D_Ken

There is a trick needed first.

Split the Handle Body from the Drawer.

Circular Pattern Body.

Combine-Join.

Attach your file here.

I tried to follow your instructions, but it didn't come out quite right.

See attached.
