  I would like to filter Regions in the "parameter" tab of the Corridor Properties form.   They would have 2 combobox. The first one (select an object type) with 3 options: - Nothing (no filter) -Alignment -Assembly.   The second combobox, would show a list of all the instances of the selected object. For example, if I select in the first combobox = Assembly, then in the second combobox appears the name of the all assemblies contained in the drawing. Then, the datatable only would show the Baselines which are using the selected assembly.   If I select an alignment, then the datatable only would show the Baselines which are using the selected alignment. I know that we can have several BaseLines with the same alignment.   We could do it for profiles, but I think that it is less important for now.   I like the idea to filter the regions according to a particular assembly, in this way a can modify the targets quickly.   Show More

OK. We can calculate materials from a sample line group, but.. what happens if I don´t want to calculate some range of stations? I think it would be create if we had an analysis tool where I can select 1 or more pipe network and it would check pipe to Structure connections throughout the storm system. Sometimes because of time constraints, we overlook and don't verify if a pipe to structure is correct. For some example, we may have a 36-42" RCP pipe connected to 3' Junction Box. If you are just displaying the outside of your junction box on your plans, it may look correct visually but in the real world this would not work. You typically never want a pipe toughing the box walls. The 42" would not work in this situation either. The feature I am asking for would be for  situation. The feature tool would highlight the structure for me.   Though I could create a rule style every single structure size and type, having this feature would be nice to have. Civil 3D would know if a pipe outside wall is touching or encroaching into a structure wall. This feature would also check pipe horizontal bends deflections to ensure they are true 30, 45, 60 bends. Though I can find work arounds for this still nice to have as a double check tool..  Show More

I think that it is stupid now that Civil 3D exports to DWG an aligment with several ( a lot of them) of "lines" entities. I can understand if there are spiral entities ( in the alignment) but all the aligment must be one entity: polyline. A polyline can have lines and arcs.   I don´t like to have a huge quantity of lines of the alignment in the exported file. Show More

In the stock subassemblies there is, "BasicSideSlopeCutDitch", but it could have more parameters.   Boolean input parameter (Yes/No)---  Ditch in Fill.  (now it is only for cut).   Material (pavement) on the ditch  (shape) to calculate concrete material.   Mininum length of the ditch. In AutoCAD there is the "layer states manager" for layers to recover the state of the the layers in some point.   I would love similar concept for the Regions (in the "parameters" tab ), to load the status of the Regions. I prefer that it wasn´t files. (not import/export files).   So, if we have a lot of Regions, we can return the previous status of the regions in one second.     Show More

Imagine that you have several regions with several subassemblies which are using the same Elevation Target (from a profile PRF1).   If you don´t like the profile (PRF1) and create a new profile, then you will have to choose that new profile for every Elevation Target.   So, why not a command to replace a profile (which is being used as Elevation target) for another one? We wouldn´t choose the profile for Elevation target again.     Another way, is copying  all the vertex from the new layout profile to the old profile (PRF1) without removing the old profile.     Perhaps, it could also do this for alignments (horizontal targets) although is not very usual.   Show More

I wish we could get rid of the gaps created from the chording of corridor curves in profiles that were created from a corridor surface.   In the attached I am trying to build a temporary corridor off of the top of basins. The basins are separate corridors built up from the bottom and the temp corridor is built from the top of the basin corridor surface. Show More

In the "parameters" tab of the Corridor form, I would like to create folders to group BaseLines according to the location of them.
