Corridor profile Gaps

I wish we could get rid of the gaps created from the chording of corridor curves in profiles that were created from a corridor surface.

In the attached I am trying to build a temporary corridor off of the top of basins. The basins are separate corridors built up from the bottom and the temp corridor is built from the top of the basin corridor surface.

If there is a featureline available at the edge of the basin corridor then you should be able to use that as an elevation target, rather than trying to use the surface profile.

I have a fline at the edge/top of basin but this is the baseline for the bottom projection not the target...

I have tried Alignment from corridor and clicked the create profile button the the profile does not get the correct elevations. I get a profile at elevation=5' at every corridor vertex. It is also a static profile w/o an option to make it dynamic.

If I could extract that fline and use it as a baseline for the temp corridor I could get what I need...Did anyone get that wish up yet?

Modify the assembly for the temp corridor, so that you have a LinkVertical attached to the assembly baseline point, and everything else connected to the sub.  Target the LinkVertical to the featureline - now it doesn't matter what your baseline profile looks like, the corridor will follow the FL.

Seems I can get that profile from the corridor to be dynamic in the props dialog but it really makes me wonder why it is created static...
