Ability to use ARRAYPATH on Civil alignments/featurelines.

I cannot get the arraypath to equally divide the path with the number in the array...

THen options I do not understand... in AutoCAD Lt 12 it was just two clicks.. but this is not acting like that....

Can someone do a step by step to array a number of items along a line?

I WOULD LIKE THE ABILITY TO REGENERATE THE ORIGINAL PATH OF AN ARRAYPATH OBJECT... IT SHOWS WHEN THE OBJECT IS SELECTED BUT IN MOST OF MY CLIENTS DRAWINGS THEY DELETE THE ASSOCIATED PLINE.
