MAPCSLIBRARY Errors and Omissions

This is an attempt to list errors and omissions in MAPCSLIBRARY.
The Tern Island 1961 Datum, Code: Tern61, shows an EPSG Code of 6707. It should be >>>EPSG:4707<<<. The EPSG site erroneously also lists the Tern Island 1961 Datum as >>>EPSG:6707-datum<<<, so it's not completely Autodesk's fault. EPSG:6707 should be >>>RDN2008 / UTM zone 32N (N-E)<<<.
To be honest, I don't understand the distinction between a Datum and a GCS(Geographic Coordinate System) in MAPCSLIBRARY. Feel free to school me.

>>>EPSG:3964, MGI 1901 to WGS 84 (4)<<< shows the 7-Parameter Geodetic Transformation as (551.7, 162.9, 467.9, 6.04, 1.96, -11.38, -4.82)
MGI-1901_to_WGS84 in MAPCSLIBRARY has the signs reversed on Axis Rotation of Arc (seconds):(551.7, 162.9, 467.9, -6.04, -1.96, 11.38, -4.82)

MAPCSLIBRARY shows the CocosIsl1965 Datum(Cocos Island 1965) as EPSG:6708.
>>>EPSG:6708<<< is really RDN2008 / UTM zone 33N (N-E), which is not in MAPCSLIBRARY.

MAPCSLIBRARY shows the IwoJima45 Datum(Iwo Jima 1945) as EPSG:6709.
>>>EPSG:6709<<< is really RDN2008 / UTM zone 34N (N-E) which is not in MAPCSLIBRARY.

The RDN's for zones 32, 33 and 34 are not in the MAPCSLIBRARY.

Search EPSG 6709 in Global Mapper and you'll get this:

Image-101.Image-101.

EPSG 6709, when exported from global Mapper, look like this.

Image-102.Image-102.

Search zone 34 in Map3D and you'll get this:

Image-201.Image-201.

If you 'view' the projection for EU-34 and you'll see this.

Image-202.Image-202.

You have uncovered errors. Autodesk needs to add or update RDN 2008 (Rete Dinamica Nazionale 2008). In the absence of an update,  ADSK can provide a link to download the RDN's in order to add them to the MAPCSLIBRARY.

Two more that are missing:

EPSG:29700, "Tananarive (Paris) / Laborde Grid",
EPSG:29702, "Tananarive (Paris) / Laborde Grid approximation"

Another one that's missing:

EPSG:7415 Amersfoort / RD New + NAP Height

At a glance, it appears that all the downloadable Lidar from this site ...

https://geotiles.nl/

... is in this coordinate system.

TMBLI-B.RSOBorneo.m, Timbalai 1948 / R.S.O. Borneo (m), EPSG:29873, MAPCSLIBRARY lists a Rectified Skew Orthomorphic Projection. But >>>EPSG:29873<<< is a Variant B, so it should be Rectified Skew Orthomorphic, origin at center. Further, the Azimuth and Rectified Grid Angle are different, and there is no way to define that difference in MAPCSLIBRARY.

I bet you can't wait for the North American-Pacific Geopotential Datum of 2022 (NAPGD2022)

lets just start every project at 5000, 5000 and call it good.

"NSRS is the official reference system for latitude, longitude, height, scale, gravity, and orientat...
NSRS is not a Datum, so "NSRS07" and "NSRS11" should instead be "NAD83_2007" and "NAD83_2011".
All the State Plane Coordinate Systems that use the 2007 and 2011 realizations of NAD83 should not use the initials NSRS in any part of their definition.

As far as I know, Map 3D only uses Geographic and Projected Coordinate Systems. Satellites use Earth Centered, Earth Fixed Coordinates. Most GPS devices are able to convert that XYZ to Latitudes and Longitudes. I don't know if it's possible to add an Earth Centered, Earth Fixed Coordinate System like >>>EPSG:4896<<< to MAPCSLIBRARY, but there are requests like the one >>>Here<<<.

I second Pointdump's post, the "NSRS11" is confusing, it should be "NAD83(2011)" for example, or some iteration of that. Infact, I don't know why they don't just use EPSG codes. That's a well known standard that would clear up alot of confusion.

@Pointdump suggested I post my description of a coordinate system problem here:

"Autocad C3D claims that coordinate system codes NVHP-WF and HARN/NV.NV-WF are interchangeable, and the same as EPSG3431.  However, this does not appear to be true.  If I set my coordinate system to HARN/NV.NV-WF, export some points using the FGDB export function, and import that GDB database into global mapper, global mapper shows the GDB actually has it's datum set to WGS84, not NAD83.  If I set my coordinate system to NVHP-WF, export some points using the FGDB export function, and import that GDB database into global mapper, global mapper shows the GDB has the correct datum of NAD83 (NEVADA HPGN) - NADCON.  The two GDB databases referenced above, if both brought into global mapper, result in a shift of over a foot!  Needless to say this is a big deal.  NVHP-WF and HARN/NV.NV-WF are definitely not the same, and HARN/NV.NV-WF is definitely not EPSG3431."

Using MAPEXPORT in a drawing with the MAL-MRSO Coordinate System, Map won't include a PRJ file. >>>Thread Here<<<.
AKN article >>>Here<<< notes Coordinate Systems not supported when exchanging data with ArcGIS, but there's a bigger problem. The MAL-MRSO Coordinate System (>>>EPSG:3168<<<) has both an Azimuth Parameter and a Rectified Grid Angle Parameter. MAPCSLIBRARY doesn't seem to be able to include both in a Rectified Skew Orthomorphic projection definition. So Map throws up its hands when asked to supply a PRJ file.

Add >>>EPSG:6350 NAD83(2011)/Conus Albers<<< to MAPCSLIBRARY. USGS uses that Coordinate System on Point Clouds for public download, like >>>This<<<. Others inquiring >>>Here<<< and >>>Here<<<.

The ELD1979_to_WGS84 Geodetic Transformation uses a Geocentric Translation of TOWGS84[-69.06,-90.71,-142.56,0,0,0,0]. EPSG:1859 ELD79_to_WGS84(1) uses that shift. But there are other European Libyan Datum 1979 shifts that should be included. Most of the projected Libyan coordinate systems use EPSG:15909.

EPSG:1859 ELD79_to_WGS84(1): TOWGS84[-69.06,-90.71,-142.56,0,0,0,0]
