Guam Coordinate Systems

Hi All -

Looking for any a particular coordinate system for Guam. I can find WGS84 UTM Zone 55, meters; but I work in US Imperial Units typically and would prefer not to work in meters. Based on my research there is a North American Datum of 1983 (NAD83) Guam State Plans in US feet; however I can not find this in the drawings settings on the Units and Zones tab. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Darrell

Hi Darrell,
You can roll your own with Command MAPCSCREATE. I see 2 Guam Coordinate Systems in Foot Units, >>>ESRI:102766 NAD 1983 StatePlane Guam FIPS 5400 Feet<<< and >>>SR-ORG:9008 Guam GGTTN63 Feet<<<.

Darrell,
I had some time this morning so I created the NAD83_StatePlane_Guam Coordinate System, >>>ESRI:102766<<<.
I increased the Bing Live Maps coverage to include Sinapalu.
Attached please find CSLibrary_NAD83_STATEPLANE_GUAM_CS.XML. Use Command >>>MAPCSLIBRARYIMPORT<<< to put it into your MAPCSLIBRARY.
Also attached is a Guam shapefile for testing.

I need help with this.

I imported the"CSLibrary_NAD83_STATEPLANE_GUAM_CS" xml into my cad, but I can't find it in my coordinate library. not sure if I did it  right.

this is from the C3D

"Command: MAPCSLIBRARYIMPORT
Import Coordinate System Library Definitions
Do you want to import all definitions [Yes/No] <Yes>: Y
Imported:
- Successfully 0 definitions (0 CS)
- Skipped 5 definitions (1 CS)
- Failed 0 definitions (0 CS)"

Thank you
