Turn off the welcome screen by unchecking the box on it. Then turn off digital signature icons by right-clicking the launch icon and choosing Enable/Disable Digital Signature Icons. Uncheck that box. Reboot. Also make sure you don't have disconnected mapped network drives or offline network printers. If so, correct them.
What OS are you installed on? Has this worked better in the recent past? Also, do not open AutoCAD by double-clicking a drawing. Open the program by the launch icon. And do not work on files over the network.
Hi,
things you can try:
- start Map with a new profile
* copy your Map icon on desktop
* open icon properties, under Shortcut in "Target" add at the end /p test or if /p is already set then change whatever is written after to test (new profile name)
* start Map - will will show message that profile test was not found - just click ok and see if Map starts up properly
- login with different Windows user (if possible) and let that user start Map - if Map starts then something is wrong with your profile settings - set Map settings back to default (Programs > Autodesk > Map > reset)
Good luck, Rob
