AutoCad 2016 Installation Issues

I purchased Autocad 2016 last year ( on disc ) now thw 64 bit version will not load onto my new computer , the 32 bit disc starts but it then advises that my computer is a 64 bit and to incert that disc, but it just does nothing

I'm sure you get some info's in the screen which makes the statement "will not load onto my new computer" clear for you. But we don't see your screen, so what have you got as info, what happened exactly?

 

Please let us also know:

  • are you admin on your system/have you started the installation as admin?
  • did you turn off antivirus software as well as firewall
  • which operating system do you have

That is ok, on a 64 bit operating system you can only start 64 bit AutoCAD.

Could just be a bad disc.  I am not a fan of installing from the disc media anyway.

 

I would recommend that you try downloading your product using the virtual assistant by following the directions here:
