Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,   1.Im Treppenmakro sollte es die Möglichkeit geben die Podest träger unterschiedlich vertikal einzustellen.(siehe Bild) Im Prinzip soll über den Inneren    Träger ein 40mm Gitterrost laufen.   2.Wenn man einen Gitterrost einfügt sollte es auch möglich sein unterschiedliche Auflagerprofile recht/links zu wählen.   3.Schon wäre eine Funktion um die Auflagerprofile  mit der Wange zu verschrauben.   4. Wenn man  den Treppenantritt über den Verbindungsmanager mit einem Stützfuß erstellt, wird für die erste Schraube kein Loch gebohrt, wenn sich diese außerhalb der Wange befindet. Da sollte es auch irgendwann mal eine Lösung geben.(Stichwort Kollisionen)     Show More

It would be really useful if we could have a "show only displayed" filter in the document manager (similar to model browser) so that only the drawing files associated with the elements on the screen are shown.   This would save a lot of time in revising/plotting drawings for large jobs (Over a thousand drawings), as well as eliminating errors by selecting the wrong files.   Show More

I would like to see improvements made to the Advance Steel Object Enabler installer where Autodesk provide the deployment Image process in built into the OE, at present this lacking in the Object Enabler download.   Supplying the OE's as a deployment process would allow for more streamlined approaches in SCCM when deploying OE's on mass to applicable products.   Regards,   Duncan Show More

I would like to identify beam processings (ASTXBEAMMULTICOUNTOURNOTCH) in my external reports. Basically, to identify beams not only with shortehnings, but copes or flange cuts as well for my programmers.   Thre are no current tokens available that I can see, but in BomExternTokens database(new in 2017?) I see there are options for SawCutFlange and SawCutWeb but with nothing set in the Data and Kernel fields. What can be done for me to properly present this?   I posted this on the forum and received an e-mail from customer support saying A/S does not currently have an option to do this. Can this be elevated to a Feature Request please.   Show More

Hello,   It will be very helpful if we have the possibility to start a dimension chain from first point, show first hole and the rest of the holes to be dimensioned automatically.   Same to work for shear studs.   Also-pattern for stair stringers-if we can click on the first point on the left, first nosing point / or tread support member, and the rest to be dimensioned automatically.       In general-if there is any type of pattern-to be dimensioned by clicking on the first point on the left / top / bottom and first member of the pattern, and rest to be dimensioned automatically.   Regards,   Ilko Dimitrov     Show More

There should be an option for a work point to be placed in the model for large trusses and frames - these work points to be used by the dwg styles for placing dimensions.   Let's say work point will be a fake model part, and this part will reqest dimensioning when placed on dwgs. Also-work points can be main and secondary.   When creating a beam - part of a truss, it will be helpfull if we can assign system ends to be work points for later dimensioning.   Or one end to be main work point, other end-secondary work point.   Currently the snap points ' used for manual dimensions' are not enough. Drawings get very messy when large and complex assemblies are updated.   Show More

It will be helpful if when UCS is placed on object, Y ordinate automatically is placed up and X to the right. Currently after selcting Z ordinate, Y is pointing downwards, and 100% of the cases we need to rotate UCS along Z twice. Show More

Can there be an option in the macro for cross bracing to add a spacer plate? The binding plate connection only works for double angle bracing, not cross bracing. Currently I have to create my own plate and it is very difficult to make sure they are in the correct position and rotation.   Also, would it be possible to have it so the plate dimensions can be manually changed, either by projection or length/width.  Show More

Hello,   This is the fourth time I am requesting the developers to look at this issue, because it is not done properly in Advance.   This was submitted through the idea station, also-tech. support last year, it was submitted through Ember version as well, it is still present.   Per attached 3 screen pics: 1. Holes in angle legs that are in  far side leg are shown with hatch-this is wrong, such holes shall not have hatch, system line and hidden line only. 2. When holes are in beam's web, and looking from top, holes do not have to be hatched, system line and hidden lines only 3. Per the third file: holes in HSS that sits even behind a plate is shown with a hatch. This is the worst so far I have seen. This does brake all known rules for preparing construction documents.   I will submit this 'idea' each and every year until someone sits down, thinks about it and fix it in the default database.   Regards,   Ilko Dimitrov Show More
