Revit 2010 error on initial launch - Cannot load RevitMFC.dll

I downloaded and installed Revit (via the Assistance Program; I'm an architect out of work).  Everything seemed to install OK, but the first time I tried to run the program I got an error message saying, "Revit could not load RevitMFC.dll."  (I searched my PC, and found that the file does exist.)  I'm stuck now w/ a program that is installed but won't run.

Will you please help resolve this error message?  I really need to start learning Revit ASAP.  Thank you very much for your help.

Thank you very much for the prompt reply!

I bought my PC in early 2004; maybe that is the problem.

The CPU is an Athlon XP 266FSB.  I did a little research on the web, but cannot tell if this CPU supports the "SSE2 instruction set" as described by Autodesk.

Ah, yes that appears to be your issue as that AMD does not support the SSE2.  You will need to reinstall the software on a newer PC.
