The ART render engine is fabulous. For some things I like it better than Arnold. Please develop the material editor to look clear rather than grainy. Also allow a background plate exposure to be adjusted independently of the physical sun map. I think with more tweeking this could be a more standard renderer for a lot of artists. Show More

I'm very grateful to the marvelous products you make to the market, But have a certain point that need to be discussed as a citizen for Egypt for an example, To buy a 3dmax with 1400$ it will be in Egyptian pound 24000 LE :D, Its not affordable, So I suggest that there will be different prices for countries like Egypt, Sudan, Or even certain favors you ask from these countries.  Example: Ask the user who want it with lower prices to make 10 free models for free to put in the next version or any other contribution, And this will encourage more people to participate and avoid cracks. Not trying to be difficult just curious what Autodesk thinks about this.   There are honest people out there who truly cannot afford an education or maya, and are honest enough to decide against pirated software if an actual affordable legal option is available.    Would Autodesk ever consider releasing a low-cost or free subscription license for people who are working low-paying day jobs but are trying to learn the software in their own time?     (Couldn't find Maya in the product list so I chose 3ds max instead)      Thanks,   Li Show More

Hello,   I am using the command panel on my second monitor which is 1920x1080, as my main one. Every time I open Max, I have to resize the panel height because it is longer than my screen, not allowing me to select whatever buttons there are on the bottom of the panel. Thing is it won't keep the given size, I have to resize it in every new Max session, which isn't a big deal, but is quite annoying.   Thanks   Vincent Show More

Would this accelerate rendering with Mental Ray for example? will it help with Dynamic Simulation? or simply it won't have any affect due to lack of support? After searching for a solution to the Quick Access Toolbar missing from 3DS Max 2018 (I'd been using 2016 and 2017 up until recently), I found this thread, stating that the toolbar had been removed (for some unknown reason), and if we wanted it back, we'd have to submit an idea.   Well, here I am, requesting that the toolbar be put back. If people don't like it, they can hide or remove it, but I and many others found it quite useful.
