Unable to install Revit 2015

Hello!

I hope someone can help as I have been troubleshooting this for quite some time.

I have recently downloaded Revit 2015 and have included a manifest file in plugin folder but the "External Tools" are not appearing. My Revit 2015 was unable to run "Revit Lookup"

I have uninstalled in and now I have trouble re-installing it. With all the 3 download optios (Install Now, Download Now and Browser Download) all giving me errors.

-Install Now gives an error of "The System cannot open the device or file spcified. C:\Users\a0086042\AppData\Local\Temp\_AI890D.tmp\x64\en-us\Tools\NLM\-t.msi"

-Browser download gave "File Corrupted Error"

-Download Now gave "Connection has expired. Please reconnct to site."

Thank you for the help in advance!

Regards,

You Long

First make sure you are downloading with your antivirus temporarily disabled.  This is especially true if you are running Trend Micro or Avast.

I would recommend that you try downloading your product using the virtual assistant by following the directions here:

Hi Travis,

Thank you so much for the reply and the suggestion. I have tried your method but I still face the problem of "File Corrupted" after downloading the file.

My TrendMicro was off.

Hi Travis,

I have managed to successfully installed Revit2015. The problem apparantly was that my other Anti-Virus (which I didn't know existed) was still On during my installation.

Anyhow, thank you and have a good day.

Regards,

You Long
