unable to install maya

Hi I have the student version of Autodesk, I have tried to install both maya and revit without success. i have a brand new HP with 1TB and 8GB ram with 4GB grafics card so i dont think it is my computer, im running windowws 8 if that matters. It starts to install and then halfway through it says its done but failure to install all the programs.

I would recommend that you try downloading your product using the virtual assistant by following the directions here:

Hello,

 

Prior to installing I would also suggest the following:

 

  • Make sure you are logged in as the System Administrator.
  • Disable User Account Control settings.

  • Disable Antivirus software.
