As far as the forums are concerned, I perfer to keep my professional ties separate. This allows me to take greater liberty in how I provide service and support. These forums are a great place to learn and try out new ideas. I've really enjoyed the years that I have spent here helping thousands of users. In any case, throw me one of those beers will ya?
Hi Sir, i have Autocad subscription question.
Last year 2011 we ask Autocad reseller for 2011 new Autocad license. but that time 2012 version is available.
they told us that we can still use 2011 if we include the subscription. because of that, we buy 2012 version with subscription.
now the subscription is about to expire. the reseller told us that we need to renew the subscription or else we cant use the current version we use,. (autoCad2011)
we have 2011 license key, 2012 key and they also send us the 2013 key upgrade key as part of the subscription.
can we maintain using 2011 version instead of 2012 or 2013?
we choose 2011 because we have this existing version we want only one version to use.
Hi icebergX,
Using a previous version is one of the benefits of having an Active Subscription. One can use the current version and up to 3 versions back of the Product. If you want to continue using the 2011 and the current version, then we suggest that you renew your Contract.
However, if you are only interested in using the 2011 version, provided that you have not activated nor used your 2012 and 2013 then you can continue to do so even without an Active Subscription.
