I have recently tried multiple times (5) to install AutoCAD Civil 3D on my new computer (Windows 7 Professional, 64 bit). Every time I try to install it, it doesn't automatically give me the AutoCAD setup window. (also, between each attempted install, I have uninstalled it following the instructions given on the autodesk website.) When I open the setup application in the program files, it says I have already installed Autocad. Then it gives me the option to install Autodesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis 2012. If I tell it to install, it installs that program and seems to work fine. However, when I click on the AutoCAD Civil 3D icon in the Windows start menu, the error message "adui18res.dll not found" pops up. I have tried installing both the 2011 and 2012 64-bit versions but have the same result. I can see the adui18res.dll file in the program files. Also, when I go to uninstall the program in the control panel, I get a message that states that the program may already be uninstalled. I had my virus software completely turned off during the installation. Does anyone know what else I should try?
Installation problems may be resolved using the Microsoft Installer Clean Up Utility. For more information on this program, please my forum post here:

Please be sure to read about the 1402 error after using the Cleanup Utility on Windows 7.
