Hello,
Hope this mail finds you well. I am Thanusha from Mauritius. I am having issues with the License Transfer Utility of AutoCAD to transfer license from one PC (Win 7) to a new one (Win 7). I was having the following error message: "License Export failed error - The serial number you entered is not valid. Try again.".So I searched the web and came across your forum. So I first unistall the AutoCad from the old PC and then installed the AutoCAD on the new PC. The installation was successful. When I tried to activate the AutoCAD, I couldn't inspite the serial number is valid. The error message obtained is: "The serial number you entered is not valid. Try again (1)."
Please advise as I need to deploy the new PC to its user.
Thanks & Regards,
Thanusha
Hi,
first sorry, we can't create an activation code for you.
If you have uninstalled AutoCAD from the old system then you have lost the option to export the license to the license-pool. That was not the best decission.
Now the only option I see is to get in contact with the reseller from where you bought your license or you might try to use the mail option and send the activation code request by mail with a short description of your problem.
BTW: where did you get the serial from?

This is typical of an upgrade under Subscription or a lapse of a Subscription contract. It's common, but you can manually activate the product.
See this KB for more information on this issue:
Good Luck!
