View Orientation dropdown should include Named Scope Boxes

View Orientation dropdown should include Named Scope Boxes

Many of our projects have a wing at an unusual angle but at the same Level as the main body of the building that is orthogonal to Project North.  We also tend to crop all the dependent views for a level under one parent view to the Rooms Boundaries.  Unfortunately, “Orientation” is limited to only Project and True North… and Scope Boxes are only rectangular.  It would be very helpful if the view's “Orientation” dropdown would include Named Scope Boxes so that JUST the orientation of the scope box can be applied to dependent views.  The current workflow is to rotate the crop boundary for the room clockwise and then the crop boundary sketch counter-clockwise.  Setting “Orientation” to a scope box would make automating easier, for projects that have a lot of rooms.

@DavidsDesk Why wouldn't you just set the "Scope Box" property of the view and then use callouts for the rooms?

@michael-coffey That's an interesting thought.  Rooms under a parent view in the Project Browser is pretty tidy without callouts cluttering a parent view.  Would you have an online source or other example of this technique?  Thanks!
