Underlay Anything Anywhere

This underlay tool is nice, but restrictive.  I would like to underlay any view onto any other view, along with the ability to move and rotate the underlay.  Maybe additional underlay visibility options, too.  Sort of like trace paper.

Perhaps, for me, this is more for production than presentation, but I've had SO many occasions I'd like to underlay a section or elevation onto a plan.

Totaly agree. Would be so nice for details if we could underlay the section in the front view.

Underlying ceiling under plan or vise versa , we need this a lot in designing parallel patterns between floor and ceiling.

you can use multiple customized views on top of each other in sheets. It will be exactly the way you're asking and even more. an advanced underlay will never be as flexible.

Yep. An underlay overhaul is overdue (say that ten times fast). It should be as simple as underlaying (or overlaying) any one view on top of another (with adjustable control over colors / graphics).

Just start by adding Color to Underlay, so you can choose a color for the links that are checked as underlay, and apply 50% to those that have halftone enabled.
