The Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) BIM Standards committee recently created a list of Autodesk Revit enhancement and feature requests based on a membership survey. Description:
Adding a way to include photometric data in a Type Catalog would allow a different photometric file, for each Type, when a Lighting Fixture family is loaded into a Revit project. Perhaps it could help by indicating the relative path (.\Family\IES\...) of the photometric file into the luminaire object. This would benefit both lighting fixture manufacturers creating content and designers consuming Revit family content.
