Shared Parameters in Elevation and Section Marks, Callout Heads and View Referen

On behalf of my 17+ users and numerous times suggested and requested  by many other users - please allow Shared Parameters in Elevation and Section Marks, Callout Heads and View Reference tags:

Just an FYI for those waiting for this, there is a crazy silly workaround. You can (at least for callout heads) change the family category under [Modify>Properties>Family Category and Parameters] to something like view title, add the shared parameter, add a label with that shared parameter, copy the label with ctrl c, change the family category back to "Callout Heads", paste the label, and now it works...

Note if you do not copy paste the label, the "parameter name" will be reverted to Detail Number when you change the category back.

I would like a simple Parameter of View Name to be added into Callouts...

Simple as that.

When using this workaround submitted by @Meelis123 , be sure that any applied view template doesn't block the editting of the parameter.

Unless the Revit code base is irresponsibly designed, this should be a 2 hour fix for them to add. 2016 to 2023 and counting.

Upvoting this important request, but adding one comment,

The shared parameters ought to be able to link "Sheets" (just like the referencing sheet number) not just "View"

The composite number of votes for this concept, from all the separate "ideas" in the 1st post seems like it would give this some priority.  I know that votes, alone, do not determine whether or not ADSK accepts an idea.  But, it influences it, and this one clearly has community support.

It does not seem to work in Revit 2026. It allows to add the shared parameter but it's greyed out in a project.
