Line spacing Parameter for Text Nodes in Revit

An additional Parameter to change line spacing for Text Nodes in Revit would be very helpful.

The current functionality of text properties gives the possibility to control the Width Factor however, there is no corresponding parameter for the line spaces.

The needed functionality would be additional parameter to control the spacing between lines, as in the image below:

I am experiencing the same issue with the inability to change the text line spacing in notes etc.

2 years in and no progress on this basic text function.

Not having line spacing control is especially difficult when using a font with 2 languages, especially an Asian language. When I use Japanese characters the space between lines isn't slightly off it is nearly double which makes is impossible to allow putting Japanese characters into a label with multiple lines, for example a sheet title.

Please address this issue.

Yes, totally agree, getting line spacing to be editable would be very nice!

One way to "cheat" a line spacing into a text note:
set the text to superscript or subscript..see screenshot

You're gonna have to try harder than that to stop basic line spacing, autodesk!!

Am using Revit 2025. Inability to adjust text spacing is creating havoc in presentation, especially general notes. Hoping this is dealt with in Revit 2026.

It is really frustrating that AutoDesk does not listen to user input on something as basic as this. I feel like I'm using Wordperfect back in the 1990's every time I have to deal with text, and trying to make lists and on-sheet specs legible.

Adjust Line Spacing for Text and Tags

Description:
I would like to request the ability to adjust line spacing for text and tags in Revit.

When text notes or tags contain line breaks, the current line spacing is often too wide. This causes the text or tag to take up too much space on drawings, especially in limited drawing areas.

Because the line spacing cannot currently be adjusted, it can be difficult to maintain a clean and well-organized drawing layout. We have heard similar feedback from many users who struggle with this issue in their daily documentation work.

Request:
Please add a setting that allows users to reduce or adjust the line spacing for multi-line text and tags.

Suggested implementation:
Add a parameter such as Line Spacing or Line Spacing at Line Breaks to the Text and Tag settings, so users can control the spacing between lines.

This improvement would help users create more compact, readable, and better-formatted drawings.
