I don't think that anything past that version is openly available. If the owner (Dassault, I think, based on this) isn't willing to share the specification there isn't much anyone else can do.
Currently I have 100's of files that have to be converted from Solidworks to .sat in order for us to link into Revit 2021. Having the ability to link a .sat newer than version 7.0 will simplify out ability to link the files efficiently. If Dessault has versions newer that 7.0 available, I would think other developers would have newer versions available. We also receive Solidworks files from several manuafacturer's that we have to link into Revit also. Each time we receive an updated file, we have to make sure we can export from SW to version 7.0 in order to use in Revit. Please make newer version of .sat available/readable in Autodesk software.
