The graphic overrides (VG) menu always starts with all categories folded in. The idea would be to indicate next to the base category how many sub-categories there are and how many of them are currently ticked.
So the category Pipes might show that 4 of its 4 sub-categories are currently visible or that only 1 sub-category of the Rooms' 3 can be seen.
