Assign View Type When Saving/Creating 3D Views

Assign View Type When Saving/Creating 3D Views

New View Types can be created and View Templates assigned to them so newly created views of that Type automatically have the template applied. This works great for quickly making new plans, RCPs, sections, elevations - select the desired View Type, create the view, and the View Template is already on. (This is also a great way to sort the Project Browser and control visibility of elevation/section markers in different views.)

Whilst we can create new 3D View Types, there's no way to assign the View Type before creating/saving the 3D view. It would be great in the 3D View drop down if there was an option for "Create New 3D View" and you were then prompted to pick the desired View Type (similar to when you create a new floor plan). Similarly, when you right click on the View Cube and select "Save View" it prompts you for a name - I would love if it also prompted you to select the desired 3D View Type.

Would also like to add that Drafting Views don't have this functionality either and it can be a real hindrance. Please add the ability to pre-select the desired View Type for all Views.
