The pendant lights don't render light for some reason. I don't have much experience with electrical lighting, can someone please help?

Could it be the same problem as described in one of the topics below:

Topic 1

Topic 2

Or maybe the google search on Autodesk forum gives results?

Look at warning:

Light source is inside geometry, so light cannot be emited. Just move the light outside geometry.

I don't know why you've got a light source in the main family and in the nested family, but the problem concerns both.

The light is driven by a Photometric Web File. There is none assigned to it. If you aren't familiar with IES files, which are required, then change your Light Distribution (property of Light Source Definition)  to something other than Photometric Web.

No IES.png

NOTE: If you are downloading Light Fixtures from Manufacturers, chances are good that they also offer IES files on their website that you can download as well.

....Ah! and @piotr.bocian is correct; the light source inside solid geometry.  I don't know why the geometry exists, but it's unnecessary. I deleted it and changed the Light Source Properties , as I described above, and attached herein for you to try.

Yea that definitely was a problem that it was trapped in geometry, I think the manufacture forgot to make the material transparent.

Even if material of the geometry will be transparent it won't work. Light cannot be inside geometry
