Sometimes, when I use the "hidden elements" feature it works fine... I can "turn off" a floor that is getting in the way, and I can turn it back on later.. but sometimes... after "hidding" a floor, it seems to go away altogether.. I open a section view and I can see the floor is still there, but it seems as though the "unhide" feature is greyed out, and I cannot get the floor to come back into view...
any thoughts on that? surely I have just stumbled into a new room, and I cannot find the light switch...

Do you have a particular example? Can't imagine what is going wrong...
i will post the Revit file.... its a design in progress... so not everything is fitted yet, but I'm working on the master bath off to the right side, and i cannot place the tub because the floor is hidden...and I dont remember where i put it.

It's still there.
And for placing a tub, you can choose to place it on a level, no need for a floor.
c'mon barth... i dont even know what a view template is....lol
I found your floor! Are you looking for it?
...Change View Range bottom to Unlimited, Reveal Hidden Elements, Window Select everything in the View, Filter out everything but Floors, Unhide.
actually... i just found it also.. I just learned that when you go to the "reveal hidden elements" you can right click on the floor, and you get the option to unhide the element. I wonder why it doesnt always behave in the same manner... (got that from my wife...she says it about me all the time)
